Injuries board launches mobile app

Injuries Board mobile appThe Injuries Board has launched a new mobile app in a bid to help people assess and apply for compensation following an injury.

The free app, available from the App Store and Google Play, includes an interactive compensation estimator — also available on — which provides a compensation range estimate based on what body part you have injured, and allows users to request a call from the board to discuss the claims process.

The Injuries Board is the Government body charged with overseeing and processing personal injury claims. The board keeps legal fees and waiting times to a minimum, with claims processed within nine months for a refundable fee of €45.

The board has also updated its website, which provides information for claimants, respondents, and medical professionals.
